Dr. Shelley Murphy is a faculty member at OISE/University of Toronto where she designed and teaches courses in Mindfulness in Education and Teacher Wellbeing. She is the recipient of A Mindful Society's 2019 Michele Chaban Spirit of Leadership Award for her work and research in the field of mindfulness in education. Dr. Murphy’s book, Fostering  Mindfulness, focuses on cultivating Mindfulness in the classroom and was released in 2019 through Pembroke Publishers.
