FREE Tri the Rock, Youth Triathlon Clinic

DESCRIPTION

Since its inception, Tri the Rock has encouraged kids to get active and try something new. We understand that TRI-ing something new can often be scary and confusing so we're calling all kids and parents who might be letting their fears keep them from doing something amazing.

Join the ROCK TRI CLUB for a FREE 1 hour clinic designed to ease anxiety for kids and their parents who are new to the sport of triathlon and specifically Tri the Rock. This first timers clinic will tour the staging and transition areas, give you valuable, race day tips from athletes that regularly participate in the sport, and help your child know what to expect on race day by participating in transition activities. Get all your race day questions answered, pick up copies of your child's specific race course and even register for the race if you haven't already.

What to bring:

  • A participant AND a parent! Moms and Dads, part of this clinic is specifically for you, plus you can help your child remember all the tips and tricks.
  • Your bike and helmet. Bike safety specialists will be on hand to give your bike a once over to ensure peak performance. They'll also inspect your helmet for proper fit to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.
  • Your shoes. Bring the tennis shoes you will most likely run the race in as the transition activities will give you a chance to practice putting them on.
  • Paper and Pen will be provided along with a handout to help you remember all the important info.
