Join us for the 39th annual Freedom Run benefiting Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice in Evergreen!
Whether you walk, run, stroll, or cheer from the sidelines, the Freedom Run is a great way to kick off your Fourth of July. There will be both an in-person and virtual option this year.
The scenic 5-kilometer (3.1 miles) course follows gently rolling terrain through residential areas, beginning at Evergreen Middle School and ending with a festive finish line at Nick’s Pro Fitness. The in-person race will start in two waves, the first at 8 am and the second at 8:30 am. If you chose the virtual option you can run/walk anywhere in the world in support of Mount Evans!
All proceeds go to Mount Evans Home Health Care & Hospice in Evergreen which provides home health care, palliative care, hospice, bereavement assistance, Camp Comfort for children who have lost a loved one, as well as emotional and spiritual needs assistance.
In accordance with current public health safety requirements/advisements for outdoor events, this event will have multiple start waves to prioritize health and safety and allow for social distancing. The waves will be released in a controlled time trial fashion. During registration, participants will have the opportunity to choose their start wave (8:00 am or 8:30 am). There is a limited capacity in each start wave, so please encourage your family and friends to sign up with you to increase the chance of getting into the same start wave!
Updates on these and any other changes to the event will be published on our website, on social media, and via email blasts to participants.
