Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night in Oakham May 2025

Funhouse Comedy Club returns to the Grainstore Brewery, Oakham on Thursday May 29th for a great night of laughter.

Topping the bill is Michael Shafar one of Australia's hottest comedy stars with numerous TV appearances in his homeland. He is now ready to take the UK comedy circuit by storm. After swapping law for comedy he then embarked on a journey to mend ties with his Jewish mother, succeeding to some extent. His hilarious personal tales leave everyone wanting for more.

Opening the night will be multi-talented award winning comedian Phil Nichol, an acclaimed actor, producer, presenter, writer and musician who has also made various appearances on Radio and TV. Bursting with fun and frivolity, he loves to break boundaries and try something whilst enjoying a wonderfully hilarious mix of ridiculous rants, on practically every farcical subject conceivable. Audiences are always fascinated by his magnetic persona.

Completing the line-up is the personable Wilson with his amusing crowd interaction, mixture of sharp observations, funny anecdotes, pinpoint accents and curveball one liners.

Compere for the night will be Jon Pearson, with his laid-back storytelling and relatable anecdotes that have people in hysterics.
