Pandemic related losses have impacted many children and families. For every four COVID related deaths, one child was left behind without a mother, father or grandparent who was responsible for their nurturance and well-being. Children struggle to understand loss and the complexities of grief. Grief is felt with any number of losses and our collective community is feeling the sadness for our children. This webinar will help us explore loss, understand grief, and develop the supports that children need while processing their experiences, recognizing their strengths and honig positive coping skills. 

 

Presenter: Jeane' Liburd MA, CCLS is a Certified Child Life Specialist, with a Master's degree in marriage and family therapy, and extensive training in play therapy. she has provided services for children and families for over 15 years in a variety of settings and has focused expertise in illness, grief and loss.
