Get ready to scamper into summer on the High Line Canal! Join us for the inaugural High Line Canal Summer Scamper 5K race, presented by the Friedman Family Foundation, on the evening of the summer solstice at Bible Park in Denver.

This isn’t your typical 5K race! We’re adding in a little extra magic to the longest day of the year with an enchanting atmosphere for all. Before the 5K there will be a free 200m Ditch Dash for kids 8 and under. Then scamper along the Canal – whether that’s running, walking, or strolling – with a smile on your face, and join the the post-race celebration with food, drinks and live music. There will also be solstice themed fun for all ages. It’s the perfect way to cap off a wonderful summer evening.

The event will benefit the High Line Canal Conservancy and our work to preserve, protect and enhance the 71-mile High Line Canal. Gather your friends and family to scamper into summer while doing your part to ensure the Canal is enhanced for generations to come! The post-race celebration is open to the public – bring your family and friends. All booths are open to the public to enjoy activities. And of course, the live entertainment is for all to enjoy! Additional meal and drink tickets will be available for purchase for a family picnic or gathering with friends in the park.
