The Fetal Health Foundation (FHF) and maternal fetal centers and specialists across the country will celebrate the first annual Fetal Syndrome Awareness Month in August. Several planned activities throughout the month will raise awareness of the 4,000+ known fetal syndromes, offer hope to families diagnosed with a fetal syndrome and honor angels lost to a fetal syndrome.
Hope Equals Life is a virtual event to honor fetal syndrome angels and survivors. Participants are encouraged to plan and participate in an activity that is meaningful to them. Activities may include completing a 5K, going on a hike, organizing a balloon release or a candle lighting ceremony. Everyone's experience with a fetal syndrome is so personal and individualized, your way of honoring that experience should be just as personal.
Registrants will receive a t-shirt prior to the week of August 19th so that they can wear them during their remembrance activity. Photos can be shared via social media with the hashtag, #HopeEqualsLife.
