OMBAC Junior Over-The-Line Tournament

Player check-in at 7:30 a.m., games start at 8:30 a.m.

3-player team price of $15 includes lunch, drinks and snacks for all registered players.

Individual players can also register for $5. We will match you up with a team. We want to give all youths the ability to play!

Player/Team Registration will stop 9pm Friday night before the Tournaments. If online registration is not available, please come down and sign up at the event. The cost is the same either way.

Age Divisions:

Pee Wee: 5-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs (Co-ed teams are allowed)

Boys 9-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-20 (The use of gloves is not allowed for Boys 18-20 teams)

Girls 9-11, 12-14, 15-20

Junior Over-the-Line is a 3 player softball-type game played on sand. The play area is marked out using rope which is staked into the ground in a triangular pattern. Each team pitches to its own players. Players hit a softball-type ball Over-The-Line for a hit. After 3 hits you have a run. There is no running of bases.

Junior OTL is played the same as adult Over-The-Line. The difference is court size. The peewee division is co-ed, played on a 35' court, using a safety softball and hit off a tee. Ages 9-11 and 12-14 court size is 45', using a standard sized OTL ball and pitching. All other divisions use standard sized courts, balls and pitching. The use of gloves is allowed for all divisions except for the 18-20 year-old boys division. Round-robin formats of 4 to 5 teams per court. Awards given to 1st & 2nd place teams as result of single elimination play.
