Kate Pierson of the B-52s

Kate Pierson is a founding member of the B-52s, the beloved dance-rock band who conquered the world with their groundbreaking approach to music and unmistakable fashion sense- and we are above and beyond that she'll join us at Provincetown Town Hall on Friday, August 29 to kick off Labor Day weekend.

For more than 40 years, the B-52s have cut a singular path: bringing the world memorable, you-can't-help-but-dance-to-it hits like "Rock Lobster," "Love Shack" "Roam" and "ROCK LOBSTER" and performing for adoring fans around the globe. This year marks their 45th year anniversary marked by their first album release in 1979. Over the years, the B52s have toured with many iconic acts such as Talking Heads,Blondie, the pretenders Ziggy Marley, boy George, KC, kc and the sunshine band, and the Go-Go to name a few.
