Kinzua Country Tango Adventure Race

This is a single day event set in the Allegheny National Forest that will challenge your endurance. It consists of a half marathon, approximately 13 mile bike loop (80% mountain bike trail), 2.2 mile swim, orienteering, fast 4.5 mile run, and an 8 mile kyake/canoe. 

This event can be completed as a team, solo, or as a complete where two racers finishing the whole race side by side.

You will be running across the Kinzue dam that is only open to cross twice a year for events. the open water swim is in the Allegheny reservoir. You will be hitting some of our beautiful Jakes rocks mountain biking trails including our newest trail laural. The orienteering will twist through the trails of Rimrock and Morrison. Your 4.5 mile fast run will be paved going from the Kinzua beach to the Kinzua dam where you transition to the canoe. Lastly you will canoe or kayak the Allegheny river back into town finishing at point park.
