Join us on Sunday, September 17th for the 21st Annual Lead King Loop Charity Race in beautiful Marble, Colorado! Get ready for a great day of running through the spectacular fall colors in the heart of Colorado's Elk Mountain range. Run, walk, or hike the 25k loop around Lead King Basin. Zip past the famous Crystal Mill and ghost town of Crystal. Enjoy a delicious homemade pack lunch from Slow Groovin' BBQ and beer (age appropriate. Lunch included with entry).

Lead King Loop 25K
The 25K dirt road course starts at Thompson Park in the quaint and historic mining town of Marble. Rounding Beaver Lake, you will climb 2,900 vertical feet over approximately 4 miles into beautiful Lead King Basin. Here you will traverse at 10,000 feet before rolling down past waterfalls, through the old mining town of Crystal and pass the famous 110-year-old Crystal Mill to then climb out of the river valley and scream back down Daniel’s Hill to the finish line.

The 25K has sold out. Kids race registration is still available. Advance packet pickup is on SATURDAY, SEPT 16th at INDEPENDENCE RUN AND HIKE in CARBONDALE (New location), 10AM - 6PM.
Kids 2.5K
The kids 2.5k race starts at Thompson Park, loops around Marble, and finishes back at the park.
All participants will receive a t-shirt, a goody bag, and an entry in the kid's raffle.
