Chris Morland of MorlandSTRENGTH, and Strength and Conditioning Coach at CGHS, and Amer Nahhas of A-Gear Strength and Conditioning, are teaming up to help Middle School Students form LIFE and MOVEMENT Skills.
The total number of participants per Session will be 30.
We seek to:
•Coach young athletes through Athletic Skill Sessions, using a 5-block level system.
We will use a hands-on LIFE Skills tool in small groups of students to assess nutrition, hydration, sleep/rest, relaxation/emotional status, spiritual input, and cool-down.
To coach MOVEMENT Skills, we will use a custom assessment that will include: crawling, hinging, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
We will use the TeamBuildr App during these sessions to monitor progress.
This Introductory Event will be FREE of charge. Donations will be accepted, but are not required for participation. Registration is required.
