Midsummer’s Day Celebration with Venerable Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche & Dungse Jampal Norbu

You are warmly invited to a day of blessings, reunion and sacred connection under the radiant summer sky. Join us at DMC and the Great Stupa of Dharmakaya for this auspicious occasion as Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche and Dungse Jampal Norbu lead us in the Riwo Sangchö ceremony.

The Riwo Sangchö, or The Mountain of Burnt Offerings, is a renowned Lhasang (juniper smoke offering) ritual and practice bringing together the most profound teachings of Buddha Dharma with everyday reality. It is a powerful means of making offerings to and connecting with Guru Rinpoche, all the buddhas and bodhisattvas, and all the elemental beings and dralas of this world. It is effective in purifying sickness, removing obstacles, and averting negativity. The practice is particularly potent when performed on the Solstice and Equinox.
