Mindful Miles 5K

1111 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80204, USA

DESCRIPTION

At Heroic Hearts Project, we help veterans and their families to overcome military and sexual trauma, and we know that helping them to integrate their mental, spiritual, and physical wellness is key.  We believe that our veteran heroes deserve safe access to healing psychedelic ceremonies, coaching, community, and resources to help them stay grounded and well in their physical bodies. In fact we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to take healing into their own hands in this way.

In honor of our veteran journeys and the fight to increase access to psychedelics for at risk groups and the population at large, HHP is inviting MAPS Psychedelic Science 2023 attendees, friends, family, and fellow entheogen enthusiasts to join us for our Mindful Miles 5K presented by Heroic Hearts Project on Friday, June 23rd, at the beautiful Auraria Campus, within walking distance from the Colorado Convention Center.

Sign up for a veteran in your life. Sign up for someone whose life you've seen transformed by the power of psychedelic healing. Sign up for yourself.

As you run, breathe in the fresh air, and let your worries melt away. Focus on the present moment and the positive impact you are making by supporting this cause.Whether you're an experienced runner or just starting out, this 5K is a great way to round out your PS 2023 experience while giving back to those who have given so much for our country.

You are not required to be an attendee of the MAPS 2023 Psychedelic Science Conference in order to participate

Are you bringing your canine partner for to join you for the Mindfulness Miles 5K?
Summer temperatures in Denver can be hot!! Watch out for heat exhaustion and dehydration in your canine partner, and remember that rough, hot asphalt will burn paw pads.  Keep your canine in the shade and off the asphalt when possible.
Care for the Healer and the Front Range Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps will be onsite at the 5K providing veterinary first aid services for minor injuries and answering your canine questions.  Look for us near the finish line!
