Musical-in-a-Day: The Middle School Monster

We're not tricking you...Stagebugz students are in for a treat this spooky season as we work to put on a ten-minute mini musical in this fun-filled play-in-a-day camp!  Performers will spend the day singing and dancing to some of their favorite songs, learning lines and character development, and preparing for a final performance for their families.

PLAY SYNOPSIS: When little Frankie S. Tine is invited to the Halloween haunted house birthday party of Jessica, the most popular 7th grader in school, she relies on her older sister to teach her how to be cool.  But when Jessica’s party is ruined, Frankie teaches the whole school a lesson in being brave.  The Middle School Monster features songs from Broadway hits 13 The Musical, Wicked, and Hairspray, with zany characters and plenty of laughs.

Please note that, while some of these musicals contain mature themes, all content used in our production is kept PG.

This program will run from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the final performance beginning at approximately 3:30. The Middle School Monster takes place on Saturday, October 14th at Koelbel Library in Centennial, and is recommended for children in grades 4-10 of all experience levels. All participants will be provided a pizza lunch and two small snacks. Advanced registration is required. Cost is $65 per child, and full payment is due at the time of registration.  No refunds will be issued after payment has been made.  If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, a partial credit towards a future Stagebugz program may be granted in the amount of $35.  No credits will be granted within one week (7 days) of the program.
