COUNTRY SWING, TWO STEP & LINE DANCE WORKSHOP/COMPETITION WEEKEND

Northern California has a blossoming dance community and we look forward to sharing some fun moves, techniques, and line dances on this workshop weekend! 

We are excited to have Mavericks (Pleasanton), Stoney's (Sacramento), and Nino's (Modesto) host this tour, with collaboration from Top Shelf Dancing and Dance with Sarah in 2023! See below for details!

SCHEDULE

FRIDAY: Dance Lessons, Competition, Social Dancing

Mavericks: 4825 Hopyard Rd, Pleasanton, CA 94588

• 7:30-8:30pm Come hang out with us at Mavericks and learn some Country Swing before a night of social dancing and competition! 
• 9:00 STRICTLY Country Swing Comp (Choose your partner)

SATURDAY: Day Workshops, Competition, Social Dancing

Stoney's Rockin' Rodeo: 1320 Del Paso Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95815

• 2:00-6:00pm Join us for an amazing variety of Country Swing & technique workshops taught by Country Nomads, Adia Dance, and Dance with Sarah.
• 7:00-8:00pm Take a fun Two Step class with Kat Painter (included for workshop pass holders)
• 9:00pm Country Swing Jack and Jill Competition in the evening! (you do NOT need a partner to enter this competition. Partners will be randomized)

SUNDAY:

We are excited to bring the iconic bar competitions that have been circulating the USA to Northern California! Compete in as many categories as you'd like and be eligible to win prize packages including CASH, tickets to The Edge and KickStart Country Events including YESSS!! Dance Convention, and more! 

CATEGORIES

Country Swing/Freestyle Strictly (Friday & Saturday)

• Choose your partner and only one person need register
• Partners will NOT be rotated amongst themselves
• Danced stationary (verses progressing around the floor)

Country Swing/Freestyle Jack & Jill* (Saturday)

• No partner needed for entry
• Partners will be randomized
• Danced stationary (verses progressing around the floor)
• 20 dancer capacity per LEAD/FOLLOW
