Norman Powell's Understand the Grind Foundation: Meet & Greet at The University Club

Join us to learn about NBA hero Norman Powell’s Understand The Grind Foundation that offers programs benefitting local San Diego kids via a high-level Military Members Mentorship program, scholarships to athletes and students, a free annual basketball clinic for 600+ kids with NBA-level coaching, holiday gifting parties to special needs & at-risk kids, health fairs with free services to the uninsured and a program that inspires and supports strong women.

This San Diego native, an alumni of Lincoln HS & UCLA and currently a Clipper NBA superstar, will be in attendance along with HOFer Cheryl Miller and a remote Q&A with NASA Astronaut Captian Vic Glover to discuss these incredible progams.  Take photos with Norman and mingle with all the guests out to support our hometown basketball hero to provide opportunities to our local San Diegans for a chance and leg up to reach their own "slam dunk" in life.
