Join us on Saturday, December 14, from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Act One Ice Cream Parlor. In collaboration with the Celtic Arts Foundation, this free workshop is hosted by the Concrete Chamber of Commerce as part of our Celtic Christmas Celebration.
Bring an instrument of any kind and we'll learn to play a fun tune together (vocalists are welcome as well). We'll learn about different styles of Celtic music and what to listen for. This workshop is taught by Cayley Schmid, Director, Celtic Arts Foundation.
You'll also have the opportunity to explore Bagpipes, as a simultaneous workshop will be held in the Theatre. You're welcome to sit in on both during this Celtic Music Open House.
What to Expect
During this unique workshop, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Learn about Celtic music.
- The workshop is open to anyone aged 14 and up—an adult must accompany minors.
