Join Diversify Whitewater, a national nonprofit that works to share the beauty of paddling with Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), and Allies, for a Paddling Skills Day at the lovely Lake Pueblo State Park (click here for a pin). You will get the chance to learn how to stand-up paddleboard (SUP) with the Badfish SUP team, a leading US paddleboard company, and take kayak lessons with the amazing veteran-focused organization Team River Runner. This event is 100% free for every attendee. We will provide all equipment for you and beginners are welcome!
Schedule:
8:30am - check-in starts for Session 1
9:00am-12:00pm - Session 1 paddling lessons
12:00pm-1:00pm - Lunch & raffle, check-in starts for Session 2
1:00-4:00pm - Session 2 paddling lessons
