R.E.D. 5k and WOD

DESCRIPTION

R.E.D. stands for Remember Everyone Deployed. And it was the passion of veteran and co-race director, Jeff Swislocki (JSwiss Event Company), to bring this event to life. The R.E.D. 5k and Workout is a two part event with a timed 5k Run/Walk followed by a 22 minute segmented Crossfit-inspired workout. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Funds from the race will benefit NEOPAT (https://www.neopat.org/about/), a local organization focused on improving the lives of our veterans.

Why 22? Because everyday 22 veterans take their life. It is a grim reality to face but one that cannot be ignored.

Why RED? RED is both an acronym and the color to wear on Fridays in remembrance of our Veterans.Event Location: Upper Pavilion, Edgewater Park, 6700 Cleveland Memorial Shoreway, Cleveland, OH 44102
