Red Nose Run in support of the QEII Foundation

Help lead the way for Santa Claus at Halifax's 3rd Annual Red Nose Run in support of the QEII Foundation, the only nighttime fun-run through downtown Halifax guided by hundreds of blinking red noses!
The Red Nose Run is a 2.5km fun run open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.
$5 from each entry will support the QEII Foundation and help transform care at the QEII Health Sciences Centre.
Starting just prior to The Chronicle Herald Holiday Parade of Lights, the Red Nose Run takes place in downtown Halifax on Saturday, November 18th at 6:00PM. Dress in your finest holiday costume and don your blinking red nose. Run or walk in front of an audience of more than 100,000 spectators as they cheer you on, eagerly awaiting the parade and Santa’s arrival!
The Red Nose Run begins on Upper Water Street, travels over the Cogswell interchange to Barrington Street, turns right onto Spring Garden Road, left onto South Park Street, and finally right onto University Avenue where the finish line awaits.
As part of the Chronicle Herald Holiday Parade of Lights, the Red Nose Run will be filmed on Eastlink TV from Parade Square on Barrington Street.
Entry fees: $35.00 per person ($5 from each entry will be donated to the QEII Foundation in support of the QEII Health Sciences Centre). Registration for kids under 12 is $10.00. Please note: Registered children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult.
