Red Ribbon Ride North Carolina

The Red Ribbon Ride will take place on Sunday, April 30th, 2017 and will benefit the Alliance of AIDS Services- Carolina. The race will offer 30, 62 and 100 mile routes.

Since 1999 The Alliance has served our community by offering outreach programs, free testing, advocacy programs, faith ministries and so much more. In an effort to raise funds which will support the continuation of these many programs and services, the Red Ribbon Ride was created.Red Ribbon Ride offers a raucous good time for a great cause, serving those in the Triangle and surrounding areas infected and affected with HIV and AIDS.

The Red Ribbon Ride is a great day of celebrating life, where participants can get a fantastic view of Wake and surrounding counties from the cycling routes or while volunteering. The event starts at Inside Out Sports in Cary at the Preston Walk shopping center where there is plenty of parking!

We highly recommend arriving no later than 6:00AM. Rider line up will start promptly at 6:45AM for the 7:30AM ride out for the 100 miler followed by wave starts for our 62 and 30 mile riders. All participants receive:

  • Event T-shirt
  • Training support leading up to the event
  • Fully stocked themed rest stops every 15 miles
  • Food and Drink at the Finish

Our suggested fundraising goal is $300. Awards for participants who meet and surpass this goal will be announced soon! Your fundraising makes a massive difference for those lost, those living, and those we must protect.
