Event Description:

Continue your 4th of July celebration and join us for the Rendezvous Run for Independence 5 mile run/walk.

The race starts at Winter Park Ski Resort.  Competitors will wind their way through the Winter Park Resort, down the Fraser River Trail, through green forests and open valleys, through the Town of Winter Park, finishing at Rendezvous Event Center. Every participant will receive a t-shirt and top finishers will receive a prize.  There will be staggered start times for social distancing as well as to alleviate bunching along the trail.  

T-shirts are limited for those registered after June 12th. Sizes and quantities are not guaranteed and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

COURSE UPDATE: We are doing our best to ensure it’s a full 5-mile run! Due to construction, the route and distance may be slightly off. Thanks for your patience and understanding. It’s going to be a great race!

Course Map

Participants running with strollers or dogs will be asked to start the race last, bringing up the rear. Participants running with dogs will be required to keep the dog on a leash and under control.

Register in person and/or pick up your bib in advance at the Winter Park Information Center on Friday, July 2nd, 12PM-4PM or on Saturday July 3rd, 9AM-4PM.

Registration and Bib Pickup will also be available at the Vintage Hotel on July 4th. Online pre-registration will close on July 2nd at 6 PM.

7:00 - 8:55 am Packet Pick up and registration at the Vintage Hotel

8:30 am Wave 1 Start (Time trial format)

9:00 am Wave 2 Start (Time trial format) 

Hop on The Lift  and catch ride back to Winter Park Resort or stop for lunch somewhere downtown.  

 *Participants will choose their start time during registration. Capacity is limited in each wave.
