Witches and Wizards of Hogwarts Running Club, we are pleased to announce a special event for 2017:
Return to Platform 9 3/4!

On August 15, 2014, Hogwarts Running Club released its fifth event ever...the Platform 9 3/4k. We had no idea at the time what the Platform 9 3/4k would become. Since 2014, more than 12,000 Platform 9 3/4k medals from the various years have been sent to members around the world. But many members didn't find us until after it was too late to get one or more of these beloved medals.
But now you can! This is your chance to register for the Platform 9 3/4k events from 2014, 2015 and 2016!!!
Platform 9 3/4k (Year One) - 2014: The first...the original...the medal that inspired an annual tradition. There's nothing on the back. Why? Because we had no idea we would do it again!
Platform 9 3/4k (Year Two) - 2015: Year Two brought back the most popular event from HRC's first year with new back art showing Harry's adventure getting to Hogwarts in his second year!
Platform 9 3/4k (Year Three) - 2016: In 2016, the Platform 9 3/4 Year Three medal featured a spinning Dementor and Harry's adventure getting to Hogwarts in his third year!
So where will the funds go? The funds from the Return to Platform 9 3/4k will support our sixth charity partner of 2017. Who's that? Well, we aren't telling you just yet! Why? Because we are keeping that a secret until we announce the charity partner for Event #6 on August 22nd...about a week before registrations for Return to Platform 9 3/4 closes. But trust us...it's going to turn your world upside down!
IMPORTANT NOTE: These medals do not count towards this year’s Challenge Medal and are not required for 2017 Perfect Prefect status!
KEY TIP: When you begin your registration, think of this as ONE event and not many. Just select the number of PEOPLE signing up regardless of the number of events you are planning to do. You’ll be able to select individual events for each person after you enter your registration information.
"REQUIRED ITEMS": Don't panic when you see that something is "required!" You are NOT required to get all three medals, but you are required to ANSWER whether or not you want each medal. So, if you want a medal, click on "Accio!" Already have that one? Click "No Thanks!"
There are NO limits to the number of registrations and we will NOT sell out! Since this event has UNLIMITED registrations, medals will not be ordered until the end of the event and will not arrive until September. All medals be mailed at the same time as Event #6 medals at the end of September.
Finally, bibs will be provided for all three events. Given the number events that will be registered for, please allow 48-72 hours for your bibs to appear in the bib archive (https://rantue.smugmug.com) Your patience is appreciated!
