Ring Ceremony #152

To be eligible to attend a Ceremony, candidates must have graduated, or be about to graduate, from an accredited engineering program in Canada, OR meet this academic requirement by having their education judged acceptable for registration as a Professional Engineer in any provincial licensing associations in Canada.

In practice, this means that the candidate is registered as a Professional Engineer, or an Engineer In Training where their academic qualifications have already been vetted. To receive an iron ring, candidates must participate in a ceremony in its entirety; rings are not give out "in absentia".
