Help us end pancreatic cancer!

Pancreatic cancer is the third most common cause of cancer related deaths in the United States and has a five year survival rate of less than seven percent - the lowest of all the major cancers. Helping patients and their families, Project Purple is a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds toward a cure for pancreatic cancer. Join our 1st Annual Run/Walk in Pennsylvania, and help us fund research and patient aid.

What: 1st Annual Project Purple Pancreatic Cancer 5k Walk/Run.

When: Saturyday, August 13, 2016 – Registration starts at 8:00am

Where: 3590 Darlington Road, Darlington, PA 16115 – Darlington Township Building and Fire Hall

Who: Runners and Walkers of all ages! Registration is $20.00 / Age 18 and under is $10.00: Must register by August 1, 2016 to guarantee a t-shirt.

Late registration and Day of registration will be $25 regardless of age.

**Course: **You will start at the Darlington Township Building and Fire Hall heading out on Darlington Road West Bound for 1.55 miles and will loop back on Darlington Road East Bound to Finish at the Darlington Township Building and Fire Hall.

The road is paved and flat. The walk will be held rain or shine and registration will be non-refundable. There will be a portable restroom available.

Parking: Parking will be available at the fire hall. Please be respectful and do not park anywhere that would hinder the fire department in any manner!

Rules: No pets, no in-line skates, no headphones.
