Run, Walk, enjoy the music/fun and learn more about our Pacific Beach Schools at the free PB Schools Fair!

The 3rd Annual Schoolyard Dash 5K and 1 Mile Kids Fun Run and PB Schools Fair is coming up soon and you won’t want to miss the fun! The 5k run/walk benefits Mission Bay High and Pacific Beach Secondary Schools through the Friends of PB Secondary Schools PTO (FOPBSS). Following the run/walk, there will be a FREE fair at 10:00 featuring information booths from all 4 of the PB elementary schools and the secondary schools. There will be bands, booths, food and fun!

Join us on Sunday, January 31st to run, walk, or to just enjoy brunch and the FREE family activities at De Anza Cove in beautiful Mission Bay. Runners and walkers for the 5K or 1 mile kids run will enjoy an out and back course along beautiful Mission Bay running path. There will be medals for the top finishers and a brunch to follow. Come on out to enjoy the fun all while supporting the Pacific Beach schools!

Timeline for events: Kids Run – 8:30am 5K Run/Walk – 9:00am Food/Refreshments/Fair – 9:30am-12:00pm Awards – 10:30am

Friends of Pacific Beach Secondary Schools (FOPBSS) is a joint Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) 501(c) 3 non-profit corporation for the Pacific Beach Middle School and Mission Bay High School (Non-profit ID #33-0305920). FOPBSS is also known by the IRS as “Mission Bay High School Community Foundation” which was our first filing name as a non-profit organization.

The FOPBSS Board of Directors consists of teachers, principals and parents from both schools. The mission of FOPBSS is to foster an environment of excellence in education and student activities for Mission Bay High School and Pacific Beach Middle School.
