DESCRIPTION

The Access to Justice Committee of the 17th Judicial District (17th JD) and the Colorado Bar Association are pleased to announce the 11th Annual Sean May Memorial Run/Walk (SMMRW) at beautiful Barr Lake State Park to benefit programs of the 17th JD Access to Justice.

Choose from our 9 MILE RUN or 5K Run/Walk option, kids are invited to participate in our free kids fun run!

Registration price includes swag bag, snacks, professional timer, and entry into the prize drawing after the race. All finishers will receive a medal! Place medals will also be awarded.

Register now, prices increase to $35 on April 1st and to $50 on event day! Online registration will close on April 9th.

7:30 am – Registration open

9:00 am – 9 Mile Start

9:15 am – 5K Start

Free Kids Fun Run – Immediately after the run/walk

Course description:

The course passes by several wildlife viewing stations and the park’s wildlife refuge. More than 350 species of birds have been spotted in the park. Numerous bald eagles winter at Barr Lake and one pair stays to nest and raise its young every year. This is one gorgeous trail course.

Parking:

Parking will be available at the Adams County Judicial Center. Buses/vans will transport participants to the venue area at Barr Lake. Parking is restricted at Barr Lake due to the proximity of the wildlife refuge to the small limited parking area.

Shuttles:

Shuttles will be available starting at 6:30 AM to transport you to the start/finish areas. The ride is about 15 minutes. Please plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time to get over to the start/finish area and pick up your registration.

Awards:

Age grouped awards & prize drawings will be presented following the race. You must be present to win prize drawings.
