Shape Up US Movement

We’ve created a run/walk event that brings together the community and businesses, taking the important message of fitness, health, education and resources to the streets.

Why participate?

• Use this as an excuse to exercise. We all need more of it. Your heart will thank you!
• Friendship — ask a friend or family member to join you. Trust us, they will thank you later!
• Raise money for a good cause — $10 of your registration fee will help support our mission AND sponsor a local teacher or school to receive The Hip Hop Healthy Heart Program for Children™ curriculum.
• Show your support to the community — be a role model for a healthy and active lifestyle. Your community needs you!
• Sponsor a child — want to be a real local hero? Sponsor a child to run/walk and allow them to experience the joy and camaraderie of crossing the "finish line" and celebrating with friends/family.

Shape Up US is a 501c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to preventing obesity and empowering children and families to lead healthier, happier lives. Shape Up US provides teachers, children, parents and communities at large with educational tools to create healthy, lifelong habits to improve their overall wellness. With a focus on cardiovascular health, physical exercise, nutrition, and mental and emotional well-being, we accomplish our mission of building healthy futures for our children through a three-pronged approach of: AWARENESS! EDUCATION! ACTION!
