SCHEDULE

Thursday: Pre-party TBA

Friday: Workshops, Social Dancing, & Competition

• Spend the afternoon learning line and partner dancing and meeting your instructors and other students before a night of social dancing 

Saturday: Workshops, Social Dancing, & Competition

• Join us for a full day of workshops taught by a variety of instructors
• Staying to dance the night away with competitions happening during social dancing 

Sunday: Workshops 

• Workshops of various dance styles and genres.
• After-party TBA

This years event will also have an attendee excursion outside of the dance weekend. More information will be released as it is finalized.

COMPETITION

We are excited to bring the iconic bar competitions that have been circulating the USA to Florida! Compete in as many categories as you'd like and be eligible to win prize packages including tickets to KickStart Country Events and a Belt Buckle (for eligible comps).

Country Swing Jack & Jill*

Beginner-Mentor Competition

• This Jack and Jill style cometition has 3 rounds:
  • 1st Round: Dance with a random partner and a Mentor will be watching and then give you feedback after the first 2 dances (NO ELIMINATIONS)
  • 2nd Round: Dance WITH your Mentor and after the songs you'll get feedback from your Mentor (NO ELIMINATIONS)
  • 3rd Round: Be randomly paired with another beginner dancer to 3 songs and the competition resumes as normal

Open JackPot J&J

• All entry fees for this competition will be split between top 3 placements:
  • 1st place splits 60%
  • 2nd place splits 25%
  • 3rd place splits 15%

Standard

• No partner needed for entry
• Partners will be randomized
• Danced stationary (verses progressing around the floor)

Country Swing Strictly

Standard

• Choose your partner and only one person need register
• Partners will NOT be rotated amongst themselves
• Danced stationary (verses progressing around the floor)
