Slavic Village Pierogi Dash 2020

7100 Aetna Rd, Cleveland, OH 44105, USA

The Pierogi Dash is going VIRTUAL!

Due to the circumstances caused by the pandemic, the Pierogi Dash 5K & Fun Run will be transitioning into a virtual format. We appreciate your support of Slavic Village Development with this change, and hope you are enthused to run Cleveland's most delicious 5k!

What will this look like?

Participants will get to select the course they want to run on their own time and receive via mail:

  • Pierogi Dash t-shirt
  • New Custom Pierogi Medal (first 300)
  • $5 in ‘Slavic Bucks’ to spend at several of our neighborhood’s food businesses.

Runners have from July 1 – July 31 to submit their times online

Top male and female finishers will receive trophies.

PLUS prizes for BEST COSTUME! Get creative with your pierogi presentation and hashtag #pierogidash2020 with your picture on either Instagram or Facebook to enter.

Packet Pick Up

  1. Pick it up: For those who are ready to run will be hosting a packet pick up at out office (5620 Broadway Ave Cleveland, OH 44127) on Thursday June 25th from 9:00am-6:00pm. This helps us save money in shipping costs so we are able to help more residents. There is parking on E 55th, as well as in the parking lot behind our building and the door to enter is on E 55th.
  2. Mailing: If you are not able to pick up, we understand, and will be mailing out remaining race packets on Monday June 29th.

Where to Run?

Run/walk anywhere you want but know that we will have 3 courses that you can run and see how your time stacks up. This is different from the official results but gives you a chance to earn bragging rights as we will share the leaderboards to social media
