The SOS4Kids is designed to be an age and distance appropriate triathlon modeled off the Survival of the Shawangunks multi-stage triathlon for adults.

Our goal is to introduce young girls and boys to the sport of triathlon and promote a healthy and active lifestyle for kids and their parents throughout Hudson Valley. ​

The SOS4Kids is put on by a group of volunteers who are dedicated to this purpose and without whom this race would not be possible. ​We are supported by the SOS Race Committee who both sponsors the race and volunteers to assist kids throughout the course - even serving up ice cream at the post-race awards ceremony.
