Thank you for your interest in participating in the STEAM Effect Project (free)! The Canada Science and Technology Museum is currently looking for 15 young people ages 12 to 17 to be part of the second session. We are looking to provide opportunities to youth who do not usually participate in after-school programs and who do not see themselves represented in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts or Mathematics (STEAM).

Throughout the program, you will get to build your STEAM skills. We will be working specifically in the areas of soldering, coding, 3D printing, laser cutting, using hand tools and power tools, and in prototyping.

The new session of the STEAM Effect Project runs from Monday, July 15 to Friday, August 9, 2019. Meetings will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (lunch and snacks included).

If you complete the program, you will also receive a bursary at the end of the session. You have until Friday, June 14, 2019 to complete and submit this form to express your interest in participating in the program. The program coordinator will contact you no later than Friday, June 21, 2019 at the email address you provide.
