The McKenna Subaru Surf City Surf Dog®, is celebrating 11 years of doggone fun in Surf City USA on Saturday, 9/28.The comPETition brings together the community, surFURs, dog lovers, families & pets for a day of fun and "fund"raising at one of Southern California's most pristine beaches - Huntington Dog Beach! Participation format

Individual surFURS will compete in either Weight-Based or Shredder heats. See series rules here.

WEIGHT-BASED:

• Includes both Handler-Launched and Owner-Launched surFURS
• Owner and handler categories will surf together in weight-based heats in prelim rounds and in the finals they will be separated into owner or handler heats.

SHREDDER:

• Advanced surFURs that are owner-launched

In addition, we have a tandem division as noted below:

TANDEM:

• Dog/Dog (2+ dogs)
• Dog/Human
• Dog/Human SUP (available at Surf City Surf Dog only).

SurFUR REGISTRATION FEES

Single Dog Heats (handler, weight, or shredder categories):

• Early bird entry fee thru 5/31 - $50
• Entry fee 6/1 - $70
• Entry fee 8/1 - $80

Tandem Heat categories:

• Early bird entry fee thru 5/31 - $80
• Entry fee 6/1 - $90
• Entry fee 8/1 - $110

Registration includes a super cool collectors t-shirt and custom medal and more! There are limited surFUR slots within each heat, so register early. Registration will close (if not sold out) on Sunday, September 22!
