TechtoberFest is back!

The Kanata North Business Association started something awesome with TechtoberFest last year. This year it's a Community Collaboration with our friends from The Ottawa Network, The Ottawa Network for Education / JA Ottawa, and Collab Space. We invite you to attend this outdoor Fall Party which starts at the Community Hub and then flows to a special edition of Entrepreneurs in Action at Collab Space.

Our community collaboration will support the Kanata Food Cupboard and the Ottawa Network for Education - Junior Achievement (JA) program.

Join us for a fun-filled day and our techie spin on Oktoberfest – as we connect Ottawa’s thriving entrepreneurial community of technology, small business, and youth for an afternoon & evening of games, music, and food for all members and visitors.

TechtoberFest Program:

12:00pm - 4:00pm @ Kanata North Community Hub (400 March Road, Kanata)

• Taste local Craft Beer

• Food Trucks

• Live Music

• Oktoberfest games

• Non-perishable food item collection for Kanata food cupboard onsite

5:00pm - 7:00pm @ Collab Space (70 Bongard Avenue, Nepean)

• A special edition of Entrepreneurs in Action

• Celebrate 100 years of JA with volunteers and student entrepreneurs. We need your help to recruit 100 new volunteers this year!

• Entrepreneur and startup showcase (booth and tables)

• Special PRIZE draws at registration and exhibitor tables for ONFE JA

7:00 pm - AFTER PARTY

• Music by DJ Momentum - craft beer by Orleans Brewing.

Afternoon Note: Kanata North Business Association will be collecting non-perishable food items for the Kanata Food Cupboard, so please bring along what you can to donate. Donations are optional and appreciated!

With German-inspired flavours, food trucks and beer, come and enjoy an afternoon of networking with members from our tech park and partners from the Ottawa Network, the Ottawa Network for Education / JA Ottawa and Collab Space!

We’ll have food trucks on-site, including Smokin R&R’s, and Dash Mobile Cookery serving up tasty German-inspired favourites! Beer Yoga with our pals at Inner Revolution Yoga and prizes and games for the adventurous!
