Join us to hear the science passion stories of three women whose paths have crossed at the Caltech Division of Engineering and Applied Science http://eas.caltech.edu/.

Ellen Feldman Novoseller (Graduate Student), Trity Pourbahrami, (Director of Communications) and Rachel Gehlhar (Graduate Student) are members of a dedicated community working at the leading edges of fundamental science to invent the technologies of the future. These technologies include electrode arrays that are implanted in the backs of paraplegic and quadriplegic patients to assist them in standing and walking. As well as a robotic prosthetic leg that learns from and adjusts to the human body.

The event will include a tour of the Advanced Mechanical Bipedal Experimental Robotics Lab at Caltech.
