Supertri, the global leader in short course triathlon, has officially announced the 2025 Chicago Triathlon will return on August 23-24. This unique course starts in Lake Michigan, winds through the streets of the city and finishes in the middle of Grant Park. Known for its accessibility for first-timers to seasoned veterans, kids to grandparents, age-group competitors to paratriathletes, the Chicago Triathlon has an experience for everyone on the shores of Lake Michigan.
With the ability to participate alone or as a relay team, the weekend of events will include a SuperSprint race and Kids Tri Chicago race on Saturday, August 23, as well as major highlights like the Sprint race and Olympic race on Sunday, August 24.
With an emphasis on making a positive impact on the community at large, Supertri launched their inaugural Corporate Challenge last year that resulted in $50K being raised for their premier beneficiary, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. The Corporate Challenge returns this year, and Supertri aims to double their impact.
The Chicago Triathlon is on a mission to quickly become the world’s largest triathlon in the world, growing to 7.5K participants this past year and on trend to continue growing with this year’s Triathlon.
