Contracts management expands beyond the “Contracts and Subcontracts Departments”.  There are many other stakeholders that are critical to the success of projects and programs.  One of those is the finance department. 

The goal of this panel session event is to assist contracting professionals and their internal stakeholders by inviting local finance and compliance leads to get together to network and discuss their perspective on current issues impacting their organization’s USG contracting infrastructure.   This is a collaborative style session, and the discussion tailored towards real issues in both the finance and contracts fields.   Sample discussion topics or questions may include, but not be limited to:

  • Organizational relationship building and communication between finance & contracts departments within various business units
  • Addressing compliance related issues collaboratively
  • Finance, contracts, and sales perspectives
  • Finance considerations in a publically owned versus privately owned business

This session is hosted by NCMA Boston and moderated by BDO.  The panel aims to share their vast insights for all attendees, but also to generable and promote collaborative approaches with their peers involved in the contracts life cycle.
