The Great Pumpkin Haul 2018

DESCRIPTION

GHOULS AND BOILS, ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW DEPARTED BUT YOU CAN STILL REGISTER FRIDAY, OCT 26, AT ROAD RUNNER SPORTS IN LONE TREE FROM 4PM - 7PM, OR EVENT MORNING STARTING AT 8AM. ARE YOU READY TO HAUL IT?

The Great Pumpkin Haul is about a 2-mile jaunt through woods and open fields, over creeks and hay bales, all throughout the scenic Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.

There is a catch though: you will be covering those two miles carrying your very own personal pumpkin! That’s right. Before the “Haul” you will have a chance to go pick out your very own pumpkin from the Garden’s Pumpkin patch (the pumpkin is included with event entry, up to a basketball size). We will weigh it and mark it and you will be ready to go!

Only the best Pumpkin Haulers will finish without dropping their pumpkin and for the love of fall, don’t pick one that is too light. You need the biggest orange orb you can find!

This is not a hard-core obstacle course race, the toughest obstacle is carrying your pumpkin for the 2 miles so if you are looking for a challenge choose a heavy one or consider our “double hauler baler” challenge_. Expect_ *fun obstacles__ like hay bales to climb over, crawl unders, spider webs and more.
