THE MARKETPLACE AT FACTORIA TO HOST LIVE MUSICAL PERFORMANCES

The Marketplace at Factoria, a family-friendly shopping destination in the suburban community of Bellevue, Washington (https://marketplaceatfactoria.shopkimco.com), invites the community enjoy two musical performances that take place in Center Court (near Panera) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 21st, and Sunday June 22nd. On Saturday, the band Jared Mitchell & The Wingtips will perform at The Marketplace at Factoria. This talented local group has an original song for every mood and occasion and is planning to release their third solo record this year. On Sunday, guests will enjoy the unique brand of music performed by Tomo Nakayama, an artist whose melodic, complex and emotionally compelling music has been praised by NPR, The New York Times, and The Stranger. With a successful solo career spanning two decades as a singer, songwriter, composer, producer, actor and curator, Nakayama is one of the most active and recognizable figures in Seattle music whose unique sounds have appeared in Netflix and HBO hits. Nakayama has toured across the US and Japan and has been a former artist in residence at Seattle’s Town Hall, with sound installations and compositions featured at the Museum of Northwest Art and Wing Luke Museum.
