2022 NJSYFL Linemen Camp

Tip of the Spear continues to bring the most detailed instruction to the Coaches & Players of the New Jersey Suburban Youth Football League.

This 2 Day Linemen Camp will add linemen specific skills to the techniques players learned during their team Tip of the Spear camp last Fall to help their team DOMINATE the line of scrimmage this season.

Each day will focus on teaching new skills, drills and a competition period.

Day 1 (6/18) 6:00pm-8:00pm 

• OL Pass Protection 101 (Stance, Set & Strikes) 
• Pass Rush Counters (Learn how to stop the most common pass rushes)
• Leverage Competition (Test & Refine your ability to stay connected to the ground)

Day 2 (6/19) 6:00pm-8:00pm

• DL Pass Rush 101 (Stance, Strategies)
• Pass Rush Techniques (Learn how to upgrade your favorite moves)
• 1 on 1 Pass Rush Drill vs OL

1 OL MVP & 1 DL MVP (chosen at the end of day 2) will each win a prize pack from Tip of the Spear!

Tip of the Spear Instructor Bio

Mike Pollak - Former NFL OL

Mike Pollak is an Arizona native that became one of the best Centers in the country at Arizona State (2003-2007). He was a 2nd round draft pick of the Indianapolis Colts (’08-’11), spent one season with the Carolina Panthers (’12) and finished his career with the Cincinnati Bengals (’13-’14). Over his 7 year NFL career, playing Guard and Center, he was labeled as a “technician” on the field due to his knowledge and execution of OL techniques. His passion for sharing the positional knowledge he has collected over his extensive playing history allows him to connect to the players he works with, watching them grow into excellent football players on the field and leaders in their communities off the field. Having played with and against some of the best defensive players in the NFL, Mike also has a deep understaning of teaching defensive players. Mike has trained dozens of NFL Players on both sides of the ball with the Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans, Kansas City Cheifs & MORE.
