Totem’s annual Spring Run Off is a popular running event in Jasper, with a storied history and a who’s-who of Jasper athletes decorating the winners’ plaque.

But despite the long list of champions, the Spring Run Off is all about getting out and having fun. It’s also about supporting the community. 2016 was the well attended and saw $1,200 donated to the Jasper Historical Society.

The Spring Run Off, now in its 33rd year. The 10 km loop starts and ends at Lake Annette, taking runners around nearby Lake Edith and through forested trails surrounding the lakes. The route is gently graded and alternates between road and trail running.

The event’s success is due to the enthusiastic volunteers and dedicated staff from Totem’s.
