Tour de Chesapeake 2021

Located in Mathews, VA, on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, the Tour de Chesapeake cycling event, now in its 22^nd year, offers rural, flat roads that all lead to water.  There are 3 concise routes, each around 25 miles, which take cyclists from our own Gwynn's Island to Bethel Beach to the New Point Lighthouse.  Each route has fully stocked rest stops, SAG support and lovely views galore!  You may ride any route as many times as you like to add up the miles!  For those finishing early, visit our own Art deTour, a Main Street local art show or check out our wonderful Farmer's Market.  There is delicious food, great music and folks to help you with whatever you need to make your stay unique and fun!  IF guidelines allow us, we will end the day with our famous Party at the Wharf!  Music, dancing, cash bar, seafood and more at The Riverfront Pavilion at Williams Wharf on the East River!
