Register for TRENCH™ Challenge 2021

This year the event will run diferently due to current Government restrictions. Start waves are spread out into 2 days with limited participation per start time. Pizza will not be available at the finish due to unavailable packaging solutions.
There are 5 different divisions of the event to choose from.
•Registration DEADLINE August 10th (08/10/21) at 7pm or will CLOSE after all available slots are filled.
•Packet pickup is on Thursday, August 12th and Friday, August 13th at the Race Venue 11am - 7pm
*Start Times and Packet Pickup Schedule may change based on participation numbers. Updates will be e-mailed by race reminder and posted on social pages and the website.
1.) Recreational Division: There is now a single Saturday start for this division and multiple Sunday Start times to choose from. This division is All-Fun, NON Timed, NO Penalty, go at your pace division where you can participate as an individual or build a team with as many of your family or close friends! You'll also get the opportunity to experience our starting line emcee "Coach Pain" as he motivates you to tackle the course.
SIGNING UP A RECREATIONAL TEAM? The team captain will need to register ALL team members at once to save the start time for the whole team. Or, he/she will need to communicate the start time to all team members if they are registering on their own and do so ASAP to not lose a slot. Start Times are first come first serve as it is tied to a limited inventory per start time.
2.) Uproar Triple Threat Workout Competition: We teamed up with Uproar and Kill Cliff Drinks this year to bring fitness athletes a chance to do it X-fit Games Style. Saturday will start with movement challenges at Custom Fitness in Anigua and Sunday morning you and your team of 3 will challenge the Obstacles at Trench Challenge.
3.) Special Olympics Charity Start Time: An exclusive Recreational division charity start time of 8:00 am on Sunday to benefit the Special Olympics Guam organization. Run together with the SOG athletes and go through the course together. 100% of proceeds from this start time to be donated to the organization.
4.) Competitive 3 Person Team Challenge Division:
A timed event for teams of 3 people. The TOP 3 Teams will receive awards.
7:15 start time on Saturday August 14th. Distance approximately 4 miles.
3 Person Team Challenge Division is NOT a qualifier for the OCRWC. If you have more than 3 participants and would like everyone to run in the same start time, a creation of a second team is required.
All 3 team members must cross finish line together. Time will be based on last member through the chute. Rules can be found on here
5.) Competitive Elite Division (Obstacle Course Race World Championship Qualifier):
Saturday 7:00am timed SOLO participant race qualifier for the 2021 OCR World Championships Pro-Division. Racers will earn a coveted spot at the only independent World Championships in Obstacle Course Racing held this year at Stratton Mountain Resort, Vermont USA September 24-26, 2021.
Awards, OCRWC 2021 qualified shirt, qualifying certificate, and paid ($200) 15k Age Group / Journeyman registration to OCRWC to be given to each Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers are confirmed to participate in Vermont.
Top overall local (Guam Resident) finisher to receive ($240) 15k Pro registration plus a non-transferable $1,000.00 credit towards travel expenses to OCRWC and compete or $750 cash buyout option.
Non Guam resident who wins Top overall will receive paid OCRWC registration and $750.00 only
Top 5 Elite Division runners in each age group will receive qualifying certificates to participate at the OCRWC.
•Men: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
•Women: 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
All Guam residents who qualify and are confirmed to participate at OCRWC will receive exclusive Team Guam race wear.
Chip Timed event. Obstacles are a MUST complete. (Or wristband will be cut.)

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you intend to qualify and participate at the OCRWC in Vermont this year, we highly recommend that you book your flight early and pre-register for the OCRWC NOW before TRENCH CHALLENGE to save your spot and notify us. (submission of TC2021 results after qualifying will be required to confirm spot in Pro Division) Due to the proximity of both event dates, the likelihood of an age group selling out is very possible if you wait till after event.

TRENCH™ Challenge Registration price is per person not per team. Limited discount codes will be released every week leading up to event day so pay attention and don't snooze. You too can avail of the registration insurance by Fanshield. Additionally, you may transfer registration to someone else but this is only available till 8/10/21.
Registration is NON-Refundable. (Read the agreement and waiver of liability before check marking the box) If you Opt-in for registration protection by Fanshield insurance, you will be able to make a refund claim through them. (Conditions apply)

Each participant will receive a bib, Finisher Medal, Custom TRENCH™ CHALLENGE Finisher Poly Tech Shirt, Michelob Ultra (21 & over), Powerade, Monster Hydro, and free access to download event photos taken by our photographers.
Children as young as 12yrs (13yrs for Elite) welcome to participate. Must register with an adult.

You may transfer your registration to someone else if you are not able to attend. This deferral credit will not be transferable to any future events and expires August 10, 2021. Registration remains non-refundable.
TRENCH™ CHALLENGE is the premiere obstacle course race in the western pacific region and the only qualifier to the OCR World Championships (Elite Division only).
A long and short course is sprawled over the 250 acre property of the Guam International Raceway, offering variations in elevation and scenery changes from desert style terrain, mud pits, motocross dirt track and single canopy rainforest along cliff lines with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. With over 24 combinations of manmade and natural obstacles and an average temperature of 81 degrees fahrenheit and relative humidity varying between 60-94%, the climate alone can pose an obstacle for even the fittest athletes.
TRENCH™ CHALLENGE to date has raised over $20,000.00 for Special Olympics Guam, Guam Cancer Care, The Make A Wish Foundation, and other organizations.
