Registration for the "Try-It" Biathlon Clinic only.
This clinic is open to all skiers who are interested in the Olympic sport of Biathlon -- skiing and target shooting. Sounds easy, right? Come on out and give it a whirl! Learn the basics of firearm safety, range etiquette, and proper biathlon shooting technique.
All skiers should meet at the Biathlon Range (1.5k from trail head area, accessible by skiing only) 15 minutes prior to clinic start in order to check in. Spectators are welcome to ski out (with a trail pass) or walk along the South Plateau Rd (without ski equipment). There are no shuttles available. Please bring warm clothes, as it can be cold when standing outside in November in Montana.
Participation is limited to 80. The clinic is required for all skiers who are racing in the Novice Biathlon event the following day, Wednesday, November 21.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration in the Try-It Clinic does NOT include the trail pass, ski equipment, or race registration.
Biathlon Try-It Clinic participants must have a trail pass and ski equipment to participate in the clinic. Registration is limited to 80 participants. Participants should wear proper attire for standing outside in winter weather.
