Location:

River Delta Marina, Creola, AL. To get to the Marina, take exit 22 off of I-65 (Creola exit) and follow the signs to the Marina at the end of Dead Lake Road (2350 Dead Lake Marina Rd).

Distances:

Three distances - three certified courses - all out and back courses. 10 Mile (AL06034JD), 10K (AL14080JD), and 5K (AL06033JD). Courses are flat and as fast as you want them to be!

Post Race Party:

It is a party, but due to current Covid-19 guidelines, the Port City Pacers will be providing the post-race refreshments.

Registration:

Pre-register by mail (entries should be postmarked by November 16), in person at McCoy Outdoor, Run-N-Tri, or Fleet Feet in Mobile or Running Wild in Fairhope until noon on November 19 or online (Events.com) until 4 AM November 20.

Early packet pick-up and late registration available on Friday, November 20, from noon until 5:30 PM at the PCP office located at 358 Morgan Avenue.

Packet pick-up and race day registration will be available at the race site from 6:30 to 7:50 AM.

Virtual Option:

If you can't make it to the race site Saturday morning, you have the option to participate virtually.  Select “virtually” when you sign up for the 10-Miler, 10K, or 5K.  You will get a race shirt and race bib - your mission will be to run/walk your distance within one week and report your results to us.

Awards (for onsite only):

5K and 10K Awards: M & F Overall, M & F Masters, Grandmasters, Senior Grandmasters, and Race walkers. Top male and female in 5-year age groups.

10 mile Awards: Top 3 Overall M & F, M & F Masters, Grandmasters, and Senior Grandmasters. Top 3 Male and Female in 5-year age groups.

Shirts:

Participants registered by November 11 will be guaranteed shirts on race day. Participants registered after November 11 will receive shirts while the supply lasts. Tee shirts will not be reordered after the race.

Covid-19 considerations:

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the Port City Pacers are making the following modifications to our normal race routine:

  • All participants, volunteers, spectators, and race officials are asked and expected to wear face coverings (masks) and to social distance as much as possible during this event.  
  • Participants may remove their masks during the race, but are ask to replace their mask after they have finished the race.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available 
  • There will be staggered start times to allow for social distancing
  • No contact awards presentation - Winners will be announced and winners will pick-up their awards from the awards table.
