Lace up your shoes, get dressed for Halloween, and come on out to Ute Meadows Elementary on October 6th for one of the prettiest suburban 5K family fun runs you'll ever experience!
The scenic 3.1 mile route features gentle turns and rolling hills while it tours the Woodbourne, Williamsburg, and Canterbury neighborhoods. Residents will be out in force, cheering you on while they compete for "best cheer station" (think Boulder-Bolder!) Best of all, your entry fee helps Ute Meadows Elementary improve their school technology.
Why: Fun of course! And to support technology at Ute Meadows Elementary
Who: Students, families, friends, community members. Children are welcome and encouraged to participate; parents will need to supervise their children on the 5K course. It is recommended that an adult accompany younger children. Strollers are OK, but please leave your dogs, cats, and birds at home.
Proceeds: Technology for Ute Meadows Elementary.
Costumes are Welcome: Being that we will only be a few weeks away from Halloween, you may be tempted to wear a costume. Do it! But it's not required. Prizes will be awarded for best individual and group costumes! Be creative, be fun, and please be family-friendly!
