Registration begins 10am Mountain Time on June 2.

Chosen by Trail Runner Magazine as one of “America’s 14 most scenic races” and by Colorado Runner as 2008’s Best Half Marathon, the Ute Mountaineer Golden Leaf Half-Marathon Presented by Salomon is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies. This 13.3 mile half marathon traverses from Snowmass Village to the heart of Aspen on mountain trails and roads at the height of Colorado’s breathtaking fall colors.

This year's Golden Leaf will be limited to 500 participants. It is possible the capacity will be increased if the race organizers determine that safety precautions can be taken for more participants. It is also possible that the capacity is reduced due to local, state or federal ordinances or the race organizers' decision that safety precautions are not possible for 500 participants. In the case of the race capacity being reduced, participants who sign up first will be allowed to race - EX: Race reduced to 250 people. The first 250 registrants will be allowed to participate.
