Valencia County Fishing Tournament 2024

Join us for the 2nd annual Valencia County Fishing Tournament, a community event that brings together anglers of all ages and skill levels for a day of fun, competition, and fun on the river. Whether you're a season fisherman or a beginner, this tournament offers a fantasic opportunity to enjoy the great outdoor, test your fishing skills, and potentially win amazing prize. 

Fishing Licenes: 

Fishing Licenses are required to participate in this tournament, This tournament is following all rules and regulations outlined by New Mexico Game & Fish.

Any participtant that is needing a fishing license can come to Belen Bait Shop, or if you need any fishing supplies, Belen Bait shop is your go to shop. 

Event Highlights: 

Competition Categoties: Participants can compete for the biggest catfish, carp, trout, bass and the most fish caught and a Bonus new prize for the smallest fish, each category will have its own trophy and cash prize. 

Raffles and giveaways: 

Throughout the day, we will be hosting raffles and giveaways featuring fantasic prizes from our generous sponsors. 

Family-Friendly Activities: 

Bring the whole family! Enjoy a variety for all ages, including a kids fishing area, facepainting and educational booths on local wildlife and conservation efforts.

Local food vendors will be on-site offering delicious meals, snacks and beverages to keep you fueled throughout the day.
