DESCRIPTION

Vancouver Mall, a lifestyle shopping center providing shopping, dining, entertainment and a host of services to residents of Southwest Washington and the Portland, Oregon, metropolitan area (www.ShopVancouverMall.com), invites the community to celebrate Earth Day 2025 with a fun-filled, family-friendly event on Saturday, April 26th, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Center Court (near Morgan Jewelers & KAY Jewelers). During the event, children and their families can participate in a variety of eco-friendly activities, including an interactive recycling game, a chance to plant wildflower “seed bombs,” an opportunity to take part in a ReUse & RePurpose craft bar where children can make their own re-used or re-purposed creations (while supplies last), and a chance to sign the center’s “I Pledge” banner promising to take care of the Earth. During the event, the Clark County Composter Recycler Program and the Clark County Public Health and Waste "We Compost" Program will be on hand to share valuable information on composting. In addition, the center will host a Little Free Library Book Drive where guests are asked to bring gently used or new books to add to the Vancouver Mall collection. Little Free Library is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access. Throughout the event, Vancouver Mall will also host a Baby & Child Essentials Drive where gently used clothing, toys, and books can be donated to benefit the Northwest Children’s Outreach; to learn what donation items are requested, visit https://bit.ly/4iPzNQK. The Vancouver Mall Earth Day event is free of charge and open to the public; no pre-registration is required. To learn more, click here or visit https://www.shopvancouvermall.com/events.
